Cait Gossmann-Bond

Equine Specialist

Hi, my name is Cait and I’m the owner of Bright Stride Equine, an equine services business devoted to the wellness of horses & people. I work as the Equine Specialist, alongside Amanda, to run the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program. Bright Stride was founded in 2015 and has grown into a place that centers around cultivating deep horse-human connections. I am Trained in T-F EAP (trauma-focused equine assisted psychotherapy), a Certified Rider Level 6 and a Certified Equine Massage Therapist.

I have been working with and learning from horses for as long as I can remember. I became introduced to horse training when I started working with a mare who was a chronic-bucker, no one wanted to work with her. She is the one who got me started on the journey of understanding and effectively communicating with horses. I have had the pleasure of doing everything from retraining ex-racehorses to gentling a horse who had never been touched by humans. Through working with countless horses over the years, it becomes more clear to me everyday that the horses have far more to teach us than we could ever hope to teach them. I feel truly grateful to work with these magnificent creatures everyday and to be able to share their magic with others.
