Natalie Quinn, Registered Psychotherapist

Hello, my name is Natalie Quinn (she/her). I am a Registered Psychotherapist at Valley Connections Counselling at the Burlington location. I completed my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and I have an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Women Studies and Sociology, from Wilfrid Laurier University.

My approach to counselling is person-centered. You are the expert on you and I am here to learn from, collaborate with and ultimately empower you throughout your mental health journey. I place great

value on building and maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship as it is a fundamental component of the healing process. The goal of the therapeutic relationship is to model a healthy connection comprised

of support, equality, genuineness and acceptance which can be powerful when we have been hurt by poor relationships in the past.

I am committed to listen and understand you to the best of my ability as we tackle your greatest obstacles together. We are shaped throughout our lives by many experiences. We may adopt unhealthy patterns in childhood, feel pressured by societal and cultural expectations, or be the victim of trauma, shaking up everything we once knew. All of which can leave a lasting and detrimental impact on our mental health. However, I believe that life can get better no matter how dark it may seem at times. And through my own experience with trauma, I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I believe we have the resiliency to relearn what was once taught to us and heal the wounds of the past. It will be my commitment to you, to reintroduce you to your resiliency through finding your inner happiness and strength. It is my goal to provide a safe space for you to feel comfortable enough to share and be vulnerable with me.

I have an interest in working with youth, adolescents, adults and couples. I welcome clients from the LGBTQ2S+ community. I incorporate a range of therapeutic treatments, but ultimately tailor my

approach to suit your needs. If you would like to explore whether I am the right fit for you, please book a free consultation. I would be honoured to be chosen by you to begin working toward a more fulfilled life.

You can book a free 30 minute consultation with Natalie or call our main line at 905-966-4309 to book an appointment, or email at admin@valleyconnectionscounselling.ca.
