Professional Connections Groups
These groups are designed to provide Registered Psychotherapists with a supportive environment to connect with peers, discuss cases, ask questions, and enhance their professional practice. With a maximum of 8 members per group, these sessions aid in meeting the CRPO requirements for clinical supervision hours. These hours can also be used towards the required professional development (40 hours every two years).
**First Wednesday of each month:** 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
OR
**Second Thursday of each month:** 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Please note:
- A primary supervisor is required, as the group facilitator does not replace this role. You will need to provide your primary supervisor’s contact details upon registration.
- There will be no meetings in December.
The cost is $125 per meeting, with a required commitment to attend for a minimum of 6 months.
Professional Consultation Groups
These groups are for practitioners who have completed the hour requirements for supervision with the CRPO and are in independent practice. If you are seeking the opportunity to connect with other Registered Psychotherapists, discuss cases, ask questions, and obtain support in your professional practice, this group will likely appeal to you. This group is NOT capped at 8 members, meaning that if you are still looking to log clinical supervision hours for the CRPO, it will not qualify. These hours may be used toward some of the required professional development hours (40 hours every two years).
**Third Thursday of each month:** 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
The cost is $80 per meeting, with a required commitment to attend for a minimum of 6 months.
SOS (Supervision of Supervisors)
This offers a collaborative space for supervisors to connect and discuss key aspects of their role. Topics include ethical practice, boundary management, effective use of self, administrative duties, and various supervision modalities (individual, dyadic, group). We also address practical concerns like fee setting and contract development. This group is particularly beneficial for those new to clinical supervision.
**Second Wednesday of each month:** 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM,
The cost is $80 per meeting, with a required commitment to attend for a minimum of 6 months.
